Dandelion root can provide excellent support for the liver and kidneys, and overall health of the urinary tract, while promoting urination (diuretic). It has a strong hepatic action, and can be used to stimulate the liver, and increase bile production. It is rich in potassium, magnesium, calcium, copper, zinc, and vitamins A, B, C, D and K.
The potassium-rich properties of Dandelion help maintain balance of essential minerals that can be lost due to it being a diuretic.
Dandelion has anti-rheumatic properties, which can aid in treating rheumatism by cleansing the blood, and also has antioxidant properties.
Recommended Serving:
Cats: 1250 mgs (¼ tsp)
Dogs, 25 kg and under: 2500 – 5000 mgs (½ – 1 heaping tsp)
Dog, 25 kg and over: 5000 – 7500 mgs (1 – 1½ heaping tsp)
